Josh Richie Founded a Company While Going to School

Although most high school students find some type of part-time employment during high school, not many can say they started and ran a successful business. Josh Richie is a good example of one such student who was able to follow his passion for cars and start his own company Josh’s Pro Detail, in Temecula, California.

One of the reasons Josh Richie’s story turned out so successful is because he loves the work he does. Interested in car mechanics, vehicle detailing, and motorcycle racing, work doesn’t always necessarily feel like work for Josh. This is one reason his business remains so successful because he enjoys the work and his passionate about his interests.

Another great aspect of Josh Richie’s ability to succeed at his job was because of the job’s inherent flexibility. As a mobile auto detailing service, Richie was able to work around his school schedule, working mostly during evenings and on weekends. Since he didn’t have to show up at a specific time every day, this allowed for him to succeed academically and pursue other extracurricular interests, including running and motocross racing, during high school.

Josh Richie’s company started off as such an initial success because he recognized the importance of being a motivated hard worker who put a lot of value on customer satisfaction. Josh Richie to this day is only satisfied when he knows he has done his best work for his customers.

As an outgoing person, Josh Richie also attributes much of his business’s success to his social personality. It helped him to reach out to clients that were outside of his personal network. Since sales were a significant part of his business’s early success, it was necessary for him to be outgoing and to build up his client base by reaching out to potential customers.
